General Terms

The Kura Door Online Gift Certificates are distributed by The Kura Door, LLC, a Utah Corporation. By visiting https://kuradoorshop.com, you agree that the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Gift Certificate terms and conditions ("Ts & Cs"). The Kura Door reserves the right to change these Ts & Cs from time to time at its discretion.

Redemption & Valuation

Your investment with The Kura Door never expires; the original purchase price paid for any Gift Certificate is fully protected and may be applied toward any spa service or retail product. To ensure we can continue to provide fair wages for our therapists and maintain our high standards of care amidst rising costs, the following valuation policies apply:

  • Service Substitution: Gift Certificates purchased for a specific package or service may be redeemed for that specific service at the locked-in price for up to three years (as defined below). If a client chooses to substitute a different service or package, the Gift Certificate will be applied as a credit equal to the original purchase price.

  • The 3-Year Policy: If a Gift Certificate is redeemed more than three years after the date of purchase (specifically, purchased prior to January 1st of the year three years preceding the current year), the certificate transitions to its original purchase price. This value will be applied as a credit toward any current service or product at the rates effective at the time of redemption.

Returns

You may not return or cancel a The Kura Door Online Gift Certificate after it is purchased.

Lost or Stolen Gift Cards

If you suspect that someone has copied or stolen your Gift Certificate, contact The Kura Door immediately. Gift Certificates have cash value and should be safeguarded accordingly.

Limitations

You may use a Gift Certificate to purchase other Gift Certificates. Gift Cards cannot be resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for cash.

Our Policies

All Gift Certificates are subject to The Kura Door, LLC Privacy Policy. The Kura Door, LLC may provide Gift Certificate purchasers and/or recipients with information about the redemption status of their Gift Certificates.

Risk of Loss

Ownership and risk of loss of Gift Cards passes to the purchaser as soon as we send the Confirmation to the recipient. We are not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Certificates that are used by an unintended recipient.

Payment Methods

The Kura Door Gift Certificates may be paid for with a valid VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express and processed by Stripe.

Special Deals

The Kura Door reserves the right to release additional Special Deals based on popular demand.

Reasons for Failed eGift Card Delivery

If you have confirmed the recipient's email address but the Gift Certificate has not been viewed within a reasonable period after purchasing, the following is a list of the most common reasons why delivery may have failed:

  • Spam filter blocked email or routed it to a bulk/spam folder

  • Recipient's firewall blocked the email

  • Email inbox is over size limit

  • Invalid email address

  • Invalid mobile number

If a spam filter is blocking kuradoorshop@thekuradoor.com emails from getting to an inbox, the email options will need to be modified so that kuradoorshop@thekuradoor.com emails are not considered spam. We can resend your Gift Certificate via Text or Email. If this is needed, please contact The Kura Door.

Personalized Messaging

If you wish to add a personal message to a Gift Certificate, simply type your message in the Message field on the Gift Certificate preview. Personal messages are limited in length to the space provided. There is no additional charge to include a personalized message. We do not read every gift message, but if there are inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise objectionable messages, we reserve the right to cancel them.

Disputes

You hereby consent that any dispute relating to the purchase of The Kura Door Gift Certificate shall be adjudicated in the State of Utah if the aggregate total claim for relief exceeds $2,500, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
